The western backlot, fashioned after a late 1800s gold rush town, features five fully functional interior/exterior sets, complemented by support buildings and facades, creating the illusion of 26 unique structures against the backdrop of Emigrant Peak. Situated on 14 acres in the heart of Paradise Valley, this vacation rental boasts an architecturally designed ‘Tower House’, three yurts, and a beautifully renovated barn, offering an exceptional venue for smaller weddings. The property’s unique blend of architectural elements and natural surroundings creates a picturesque backdrop for celebrations. With the stunning Absaroka peaks to one side and the Yellowstone River to the other, this Montana wedding venue is unlike anything else in the area. A clean, mid-century modern design inside the house is the perfect juxtaposition against the rugged mountains and river. The expansive field with unending views is an ideal ceremony location, while the modern barn is able to host small interior gatherings, or larger receptions just outside. Guests are able to retreat to one of the three yurts or tower bedrooms after the celebration, as the property can sleep 14 guests. The Attic is primarily used as a music venue, but makes for a great reception space for those wanting to enjoy the downtown scene. Getting married in Yellowstone National Park is a truly unique experience, surrounded by the park’s breathtaking landscapes and natural wonders. Couples have the opportunity to exchange vows in one of the most iconic settings on Earth. The north entrance is located just 45 minutes south of Livingston, making it a viable option for those looking for something truly special while staying close to town. Yellowstone offers various stunning locations for ceremonies, including 

Artist Point with a maximum 40 people, the Old Faithful Area with a max of 40 people, Mammoth Chapel, and several amphitheaters throughout the park. Some of these areas, as well as the park in general, can get extremely busy. Picking a week day, off-season date, or holding your ceremony outside the park but entering for portraits, are all great ways to make your day run smoother. Eloping without guests can also open up your options for your day!

According to the park site, ceremonies, including weddings, may be authorized in specific areas of Yellowstone National Park, contingent on factors such as location, group size, and the time of year or day. Although the park offers an unforgettable natural backdrop for your special day, it’s important to note that hosting a large, exclusive, or decorated celebration may require finding alternative locations outside the park. However, if you stay close to the area, you can still do your couple’s portraits inside! To have your ceremony within any park area, a Special Use Permit is mandatory. Yellowstone National Park Lodges may be able to accommodate receptions or assist with indoor ceremonies as well!
